Air Capital Comic Con (ACCC) was started in 2013 by brothers Don and Drew Woodworth. They were interested in bringing a comic con experience to their hometown of Wichita. As the years went by, Drew stepped down, but then it became even more of a family affair as Don recruited his wife Barbara and daughter Kris Campbell to help with the event.
