How does buying or selling on Coscove work?
Buying on Coscove is easy
- Browse, search or filter for items for your cosplay
- Check out using your preferred method of payment
- When the seller ships the item (within 3 business days), you’ll get a notification that it’s on the way. Shipping and tracking information will be provided so you can stay up to date with your cosplay’s travel journey.
- Let the seller know how much you love your new costume with a photo and review!
🌎 Payments is currently limited to buyers in the USA. If you’re outside of the USA, you can still message the seller privately to sort out shipping details.
- Make sure to complete your profile so buyers get a better feel for who’s closet they are shopping
- Add your listing via the “sell” button
- Connect your bank details or credit card information as prompted
- When your item sells, please ship it within 3 business days and upload the shipping information and tracking
- Your payout will automatically deposited to your bank via Stripe in 5 business days. You can see this in progress by visiting your Stripe dashboard.

Fees on Coscove
💡 Listing an item is always free on Coscove. Fees are charged when an item sells or when a service is used. See below for a breakdown of the fees.
Coscove charges a 10% fee for all sales made through the BUY NOW button. This is automatically charged on the total transaction amount including shipping costs.
Coscove charges sellers a market competitive rate of 2.9% plus $0.30 for each payment received from the buyer.
We do so with the added convenience of not requiring you to sign up for a separate processing account. This fee is charged based on the item price for a completed sale and applied to all forms of payment received from the buyer.
How do payouts work?
Your payouts should land in your bank account within 4 business days. You can see all past payments and those being processed in your Stripe dashboard. Head to your Settings page and click “See Payouts on Stripe” to access it.
We protect every transaction that occurs on Coscove and want to make sure both the buyer and seller have a great experience! A buyer may open a case with us if they don't receive their item or the item they receive is not as described within the listing.
Returns are not currently offered for:
- Fit issues
- No longer want the item
- Delayed delivery
If the buyer receives an item that is not as described within the listing, is sent the wrong item, or is in some other way not as described, the buyer can report their problem to us within 3 days of receiving the item. When a case is opened, the buyer can share photos and offer details of the item. If the case for return is verified, we will offer the buyers a full refund.
To avoid a problem with a sale, we advise sellers to be as descriptive and detailed as possible when creating listings. We encourage buyers to review the listing photos, description, and item condition, and if you have any questions, please ask the seller for additional details, measurements, or photos! Sellers are usually more than happy to provide additional information.
For any listings with the "buy now" button available, you must complete the transaction on Coscove (excluding international sellers and buyers). If you are found to be abusing the site and moving to offsite purchases, this may be grounds for account termination.
Coscove strictly prohibits the sale of illegal items, including but not limited to replicas or fakes, products derived from threatened or extinct species*, anything requiring a prescription, medical products / items making medical claims (for example N95 masks), live animals, food, misrepresented Native American or American Indian arts and crafts, and stolen goods. Members who buy, list, or otherwise attempt to sell such illegal items risk immediate and permanent suspension from Coscove.
We do not allow the buying or selling of furniture, appliances, used makeup/personal care products, used underwear, any health and wellness products (examples include diet supplements, protein powder, body wraps and breast pumps), and current airline and airport uniforms and related items (which include pilot, flight attendant, TSA, baggage attendant gate agents and all other flight and ground crew uniforms). Any listings in these categories will be deleted. Members who repeatedly attempt to sell such items risk permanent suspension from Coscove.
