1. Introduction.

We at Coscove LLC know you care about how your personally identifiable information is used and shared, and we take your privacy seriously. Please read the following to learn more about our Privacy Policy (the “Policy”). By using or accessing our website(s), products, and applications (the “Services”) in any manner, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Policy, and you hereby consent that we will collect, use, and share your information in the following ways. Any capitalized terms that are not defined in this Policy are defined in our Terms of Service.

2. Information Collected.

a.      Voluntarily Disclosed Information. When you use the Services, you will have the opportunity to provide us with some information directly. For example, some functions of the Services require you to register for an account, where we may ask you for your email address and preferred username. As another example, we may also collect other information you directly give us as you build your profile through the Services, including but not limited to: your measurements (e.g. height, bust, waist, and hip measurements, and sizes for tops, bottoms, dresses, and shoes); location; contact information; student or occupation status; and, whether you have bought or sold items on other resale platforms.

i.      Third Party Information Providers. When you provide us with the credentials to a Third Party Information Provider (such as Google or Facebook), we will obtain what information the Third Party Information Provider allows us to receive, as determined by the terms that govern your relationship with the Third Party Information Provider.

ii.      User Generated Content. Certain parts of the Services also allow you to upload or post User Content, such as live-stream videos, videos, photos, graphics, text (such as chats), interactive features, and other materials, whether provided by you, Coscove or a third party. Please note that any User Content you post may be publicly available, viewable to others, may appear in search results on our platform, and may appear in search results of third-party search engines. User Content will be saved, including but not limited to, time-stamped videos that are recorded from live-streams, photos, and chats. Section 4 of this Policy explains how information you submit to the Services may be shared or available to third parties. Coscove recommends that you not post any sensitive personally identifiable information, such as your address, information about website accounts, credit card numbers, or your Social Security Number, because that information may be seen by others.

iii.      Financial Information. In order to use the Services, you will be asked to provide certain financial information so that you can pay for the products that you have purchased and/or be paid for the products that you have sold. Our current payment processor is Stripe. Please note that when you register with Stripe, your financial information will be collected by Stripe, and we will not have access to your financial information.

b.      Automatically Collected Information. Whenever you interact with the Services, we automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser or device, which may include your IP address, geolocation data, device identification, “cookie” information, the type of browser and/or device you’re using to access the Services, and the page or feature you requested. “Cookies” are identifiers we transfer to your browser or device that allow us to recognize your browser or device and tell us how and when pages and features in the Services are visited and by how many people.  You may be able to change the preferences on your browser or device to prevent or limit your device’s acceptance of cookies, but this may prevent you from taking advantage of some of our features. More information on how Google Analytics uses your information is available at this link . We may also receive confirmation when you open an email from us. This confirmation helps us make our communications with you more interesting and improve our services.

The requirements are listed at the link provided. You should review them and ensure that your marketing practices conform with them. Among these rules, the most important require that you ensure that each email is clearly labelled as a marketing email and explain and provide a clear process for opting out of future marketing emails.

3. Use of Collected Information.

We may use this data to customize content for you that we think you might like, based on your usage patterns. We may also use it to improve the Services – for example, this data can tell us how often users use a particular feature of the Services, and we can use that knowledge to make the Services interesting to as many users as possible.

4. Disclosure of Information.

a.      Staff and Third Party Service Providers. We employ and utilize other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and need to share your information with them to provide products or services to you. For example, we ask you to use Stripe for purchase transactions.

b.      User Generated Content. We may use photos, videos, video recordings of live-streams, chats, and other User Content for future uses, including but not limited to, marketing purposes. We may share your information with our channel partners, subsidiaries, affiliates, professional advisors (such as financial, insurance, legal, accounting, or otherwise), joint ventures, or any other company, to fulfill obligations and requests, to provide users information about Coscove, and other purposes in our sole discretion. Coscove does not control how a business partner may use your personal information. Our business partners are responsible for managing the use of personal information collected in these circumstances.

c.       Public Information. Please note that if you submit any of your personally identifiable information to a portion of the Services that is accessible by other users, including an online forum, live-stream chat, or comment section, other Users will be able to see that personally identifiable information. Accordingly, only include information in those submissions that you are comfortable sharing with third parties.

d.      Business Transfers. We may choose to buy or sell assets, and may share and/or transfer customer information in connection with the evaluation of and entry into those transactions. Also, if we (or our assets) are acquired, or if we go out of business, enter bankruptcy, or go through some other change of control, personally identifiable information could be one of the assets transferred to or acquired by a third party.
