Elementalist Lux

This cosplay was created over the course of two years, and has two best in category awards. The idea for this layout started when I discovered photochromic pigments, which is what allowed me to incorporate both the light and fire forms of the elementalist skin into this cosplay. Indoors it is all white with a long skirt, and I can take the skirt sides off and the colors turn red, orange, and dark blue. Other techniques in this cosplay include pattern making, corsetry, foam clay sculpting, PVC piping, thermoplastics, LED circuitry, light refraction (diffraction grating on plexiglass), hand rhinestoning, priming/hand painting/sealing, and custom resin gem casting.
