For buyers
How it'll work:
You will be able to shop items in person at the con, so no big changes here. Only thing to note is all payments will be handled electronically so you will need a credit card since payment will be going to sellers via their online listings.
You can also browse items that will be at the event prior to the convention. Just enter “NYCC” in the search box. We will also be showcasing items on our homepage once we get closer to the con date. For items that will be available at NYCC, shipping price will become $0 at NYCC.

For sellers
This event does not require you to man your own booth. Instead, you will set up an account on Coscove.com, add all listings beforehand, and set up your stripe account (so you can get paid). Before the event, you can check your items with us the way you do at a coat check, and if someone wants to buy it, they will pay via your listing.
Seller's check list – please do ASAP!
- Create login on coscove.com
- In your bio, please include “NYCC” in your con line up - this will ensure you show up in search
- Connect Stripe to your account in your account settings
- Add your listings
Share your profile with all your listings on social media so your friends can take look at what you’re selling in advance!

RSVPFAQs
No! We designed this buy/sell market to make sure you can fully enjoy the convention. We’ll man the booth and help you sell while you can participate in all the con activities
When listing your items, you will be prompted to set up your Stripe account on Coscove and link your bank account or credit card. Buyers at the convention will purchase your item listings directly, and payout will be dropped into your stripe account.
As many as you can! Bring everything that makes sense for you practically. We'll find a place for it.
If your item doesn’t sell, you can do 1 of 3 things:
You can take them back home and continue to enjoy or sell them. Your online listings on Coscove will still be active, so buyers can still discover and buy your items. We will continue to post your items on socials for you, and ensure they get the maximum number of 👀.
You can also apply to leave your unneeded items with us, under Coscove Store & Sell, for an additional storage and transportation fee. In this case, we will help you store it, bring it to other conventions we are going to, or ship it for you if it sells online later on! This is perfect if you’re traveling from out of town, no need to worry about lugging big cosplays around twice if you don’t want to. Keep in mind that space is limited for this program.
Lastly, you are able to donate your items to us simply by leaving them with us at the end of the event. Any proceeds from these items will go towards future Coscove Market events and community-building.
Listing an item is always free on Coscove. Fees are charged when an item sells or when a service is used.
It costs a 30% seller fee to sell in-person during Coscove Market. This is to cover convention related costs, staff, materials, transportation and other operational costs. Any items you sell online before or after the event will be at our normal 10% seller fee.
During our past events, we've seen successful sellers make more than $1,000 at the show! Our best advice is to list as many items as you are willing to let go, and don't be afraid to price them fairly. More often than not, you won't be overcharging your buyers. If you are the first owner, prices are usually between 50-80% of the original price. If you are the second or third owner, consider pricing it between 30-50% of the original price. You can always adjust or reduce the prices after the first day as you see fit.
Still not sure? Discuss with our community on Discord!
With convenience comes the tradeoff of security. We do our very best to keep your items safe and secure, but we cannot guarantee complete prevention of theft. The risk may be higher especially for smaller items like figures, charms, and accessories. Please consider which items you want to bring in and which ones you want to sell online only.
By signing up for this event, you are accepting this risk.
We have staff and volunteers who will be watching over the items, and have procedures in place to increase security. We are always open to suggestions and feedback on how we can make this event safe and accessible for the community. You can also help by volunteering for this event. Just mark it down in the RSVP form or message us on Discord!
